Pal Ewam Namgon Nunnery School is situated in Upper Mustang, Threngkar. Currently we have 50 nuns with 6 teaching staffs. All the nuns are from poor family background from most remote areas of Nepal. During the summer season we have to run our school in Upper Mustang and during the winter season we have run our school in Pokhara. Because of the cold climatic condition in Upper Mustang during the winter season students are not able to go class and run the school smoothly.
So coming year on 2017, we are planning to construct a new shrine hall in Nunnery school, Threngkar. Every year we organize a Mani programme in Nunnery school and we manage it in our school compound with a tent. And it’s a very tough and difficult because of the strong wind there. At the same time every morning and evening our nuns have to do their daily puja and now we don’t have any shrine hall to do puja. So regarding all these weakness we are trying to construct the shrine hall very soon. The cost of the project is 1, 30,000 US $.
